Can I try FabPak before buying?
Yes. The free 14-day trial unlocks every feature. No credit card required. If it does not work in your environment, you have lost nothing.
What SolidWorks versions are supported?
FabPak is currently tested and supported on SolidWorks 2025 and 2026. We recommend the free trial before purchase to confirm compatibility with your specific installation.
Does FabPak work with SolidWorks PDM?
Yes. FabPak works with local working copies of files managed in SolidWorks PDM. Check out your files as you normally would, then run FabPak. No PDM configuration required.
Can FabPak use my custom SolidWorks properties for file naming?
Yes. FabPak reads your existing custom properties and uses them for file naming automatically. Configure once, applies to every export.
Does FabPak modify my source SolidWorks files?
No. FabPak is a read-only data exporter. It reads your assembly and generates output files into a separate folder. Your source files, drawings, and models are never modified, saved, or checked out.
Can I transfer my license to a new computer?
Yes. Open FabPak Options and click Deactivate. Your license releases immediately and activates on your new machine with the same key. No support ticket required.
What happens after my maintenance plan expires?
